Match winner, point spread and totals

Match winner: A selection on which team wins. Check whether overtime is included and how a tie is settled.
Point spread: A handicap is applied to the final score. For example, a team at -3.5 must win by at least four points for that selection to win.
Total points: An over/under market concerns the combined score against a stated line. A whole-number line can allow a push under the operator’s rules.

Player markets can concern passing yards, rushing yards, receptions or touchdowns. Read participation and injury rules: a player who does not take part may be treated differently from one who starts and leaves early.
